Privacy policy
The short version: your logs stay on your phone. Nolla has no accounts, no ads, and nothing to sell. This policy explains the little that's left.
1. Who runs Nolla
Nolla is built and operated by Lorenzo Simonelli, an individual developer based in Aversa (CE), Italy. Lorenzo is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy.
2. What Nolla stores
Your pouch logs, doses in mg, trigger tags, craving-timer sessions and taper settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive this data, and we cannot read it.
3. What we don't collect
No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, advertising identifier or health-record access. Nolla does not require an account and never asks for one.
4. iCloud sync
Your logs sync automatically to your personal iCloud container while you're signed into iCloud on your device — this happens through Apple's iCloud system, not a setting inside Nolla. The data travels between your devices only; we have no access to it. Stopping sync (for example, by signing out of iCloud or turning off iCloud access for Nolla in your device settings) does not delete data already stored in iCloud — it only stops new logs from syncing. Settings → Start Over inside Nolla removes data from both your device and iCloud.
5. Purchases
Premium is billed by Apple through the App Store. To validate subscriptions and manage entitlements, we use RevenueCat as our purchase-management provider. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-instance identifier and receipt data — never your logs — and does not have access to your payment details.
6. Analytics
We collect aggregate, anonymous usage events (for example, "a craving timer was started") using TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics provider. Each event is tied to a random identifier generated for your install, not to your identity — it cannot be used to determine who you are. These events never include dose values or trigger tags.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data lives as long as you keep it. Settings → Start Over erases every log from your device and, if sync is on, from your iCloud container. Simply deleting the app does not do this: your local copy is removed, but if iCloud sync is on, your data remains in your personal iCloud container until you turn off sync or run Start Over first.
8. Children
Nolla carries an 18+ rating on the App Store and is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with an updated date. Material changes are noted in the app before they take effect.
